North Bay Police Service

The North Bay Police Service has 98 officers covering the City of North Bay and the Municipality of Callander, an area with 55,416 residents in rural, city and cottage dwellings. An additional 65 civilian staff members fulfill a variety of roles, including: 9-1-1 call-takers; police and fire dispatchers; forensic identification officers; fleet maintenance, care and control of evidence and property, records management; and much more.

Staff at the North Bay Court House provide court security, prisoner transportation and court case management, which involves assisting the Crown Attorney with Crown briefs and case files.
